A girl student of the sixth grade was kidnapped and raped in the jurisdiction of the Sihala police station on Friday night. The police shifted the victim to the PIMS for medical examination.

A baby girl was abducted from the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) on Friday morning.
The parents of eight-month-old Mahnoor had left their daughter with her brother, who was undergoing treatment at the NICH. While the parents were away, a Burqa-clad woman approached the boy and asked him to leave and buy a cold drink. When the boy returned, he saw that the woman was gone and his baby sister missing.

Academic activities resume at Punjab University (PU)
ACADEMIC activities finally resumed at the Punjab University (PU) after nine consecutive days of boycott by the Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) on Thursday.
However, attendance remained thin in classes as many boarding students have yet to return from their hometowns.
