3,100 new teachers to be inducted in Pindi district

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has formally approved induction of 3,100 new female and male teachers for Rawalpindi district. These new inductions would commence from the start of the new financial year - in August and September - on contractual basis. Headmasters, OT, Primary, Middle, computer teachers, science teachers and mathematics teachers would be hired, who would most probably join their job in October. Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspends removal order of OPF Girls College principal

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the removal order of OPF Girls College (Sector F-8/2) Principal Shaheena Masood issued by OPF Managing Director Iftikhar Ahmad.

Pakistani Fighter jet crashes in Balochistan, no casualties

KARACHI: A Pakistani fighter jet crashed in the south of the country Tuesday while on routine training but the pilot ejected safely and there were no casualties on the ground, an air force official said.

Suicide attack kills security guards in Peshawar-Pakistan

A good 8.4% increase in health sector but with no district control

KARACHI: From last year, there has been an 8.4 per cent increase in the expenditure for the health sector. Around Rs45.7 billion have been set aside, as compared to last year’s Rs32.7 billion, for health care spending.

RAWALPINDI: Government schools in Rawalpindi will be used as ladies parks in the evening. In this regard a notification has been issued by district coordinating officer. The order was passed in response to a district government call to use the schools as socialising centres. Women can use the schools for walk.
